A prophetic voice of truth and identity, Matina is passionate about walking alongside others into wholeness.

Using a narrative therapy perspective and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Matina helps pastors and leaders identify distorted patterns of thinking they have developed about themselves and God that can impact their ministry life. She also focuses on the development of spiritual disciplines and rhythms that focus on personal identity in Christ.

Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State, Matina has over 10 years of experience providing therapy services in a range of settings.

She uses a psychodynamic approach focusing on connections between past experiences and present thoughts, feelings and behaviors to support clients in gaining new perspectives and grow in emotional maturity.

Matina provides virtual therapy services via Zoom for those living in WA.

Matina is taking sabbatical through mid 2026

Speaking & Workshops

Matina is an experienced speaker with an honest and engaging style of teaching. She has presented workshops in schools, clinics and at faith based retreats on topics around mental health as well as spiritual formation and development.
